I still remember the countless summer nights spent under the open sky, lying on the mossy patches in the wilderness, counting stars. Over the years, I have used many tactical backpacks; as a frequent adventurer and someone who loves exploring in the wilderness, they tend to come in handy.

My friends, too, all have at least one tactical pack on them at any given time, and we often end up discussing the pros and cons we see in our individual bags, which has given me quite an eye for spotting the perfect tactical backpack.

There are many things you should consider before investing in a tactical backpack; these things do not come cheap, so it’s important that when you buy one, it lasts you long enough without giving you much trouble.

A tactical backpack should be durable, reliable, and built to last. Its straps should ideally be padded so as to prevent your shoulders from starting to hurt. The bag itself should be lightweight and easy to carry, or else you may feel burdened by it.

Furthermore, the backpack should have enough space inside of it to allow you to carry all that you’ll need. Whether your trip is just for a day or for a weekend, your bag simply must have enough space to store everything you’ll need, or else there’s no point in carrying a specialized tactical backpack in the first place.

Like I mentioned before, I have seen many tactical backpacks come and go over the years, and spent numerous hours chatting about them with my friends. All of this has made me an expert in the field, allowing me to spot an excellent bag from afar.

To help you find the right bag, I have compiled a list of the top 10 best tactical backpacks out there:

Final Thoughts

There are many excellent products listed above, and choosing just one is a difficult decision. However, the Seiberton Falcon Compact Summit Bag simply takes the cake for me. This is a highly waterproof bag (save for its zippers, which are not waterproof), and is perfect for adventures in humid areas or wetlands.

It is also extremely durable, reliable, and won’t fall apart easily. Its stitching is also remarkable, as is its storage capacity (37 liters).

However, the other bags are also remarkable; just because one product works best for me, doesn’t mean it’s exactly what you need, too. However, the Seiberton Falcon Compact Summit Bag certainly is worth considering again.

Remember, your tactical backpack should be able to serve you well in times of need, and it can only do so if it is structurally sound and built from high-quality materials. The bag should be mildly water-resistant at the very least, and most tactical bags are.

It’s also a smart idea to choose a bag that has adjustable shoulder straps. Preferably, your backpack should also have breathable back padding with an air mesh, or similar material, to prevent skin rashes or infections on your back.

Regardless of which bag you settle for, one thing’s for sure: the ones mentioned on the list above are all worth buying and won’t let you down!
